Canada: Steelback Brewery C.E.O. appointed Ian Macdonald as Senior Vice President of Sales
Frank D'Angelo, C.E.O. of Steelback Brewery announced on February 14 the appointment of Ian Macdonald as Senior Vice President of Sales for Steelback Brewery. Mr. MacDonald brings 17 years of sales and marketing experience in the brewing industry to the Tiverton-based brewer. Ian's experience includes a 5-year stint at Labatt's but his most recent posting was V.P of Sales and Customer Service for Lakeport Brewing LP. There he was instrumental in Lakeport's amazing turnaround and current standing as Ontario's 3rd largest take home brewer. As Steelback's new Senior V.P. of Sales, Ian is looking forward to lending his experience and passion for beer to ensure Steelback's continued success.
Steelback Brewery is a private company based in Tiverton, Ontario where it brews nine distinct brands of premium quality beer in addition to the newly released Copperhead Pilsner: Bruce Country Wild, Steelback Thunder, Steelback Silver, Steelback Red, Tiverton Bear Honey Brown, Tiverton Bear Dark Lager, Chain, Link Light and Tango. It is the first brewery in Canada to use innovative packaging methods such as unbreakable bottles and large format cans with full "body sleeve" labels.
